Here's what
you need:
Position a rack in the center of the oven and preheat to 375°. Line 12 half-inch muffin cups with paper liners. Whisk flours, oat bran, baking powder, baking soda and salt in a large bowl. In another bowl, beat together eggs and egg whites. Stir in buttermilk, brown sugar and oil. Stir into dry ingredients until just evenly moist. Don’t overmix. The batter will be very thick.
