Here's what
you need:
1 lb. pork tenderloin
½ cup soy sauce
2 cloves, garlic, minced
1 Tbsp. grated fresh gingerroot
|
1 Tbsp. sesame oil
¼ cup honey
2 Tbsp. brown sugar
4 Tbsp. sesame seeds
|
Here's how to make it:
Combine soy sauce, ginger and sesame oil in a zip-top plastic bag. Place the pork tenderloin in the bag and let marinate for 2 hours at room temperature or overnight in the refrigerator.
Preheat oven to 375. Mix together honey and brown sugar in a shallow plate (warm the plate to help the honey loosen). Place the sesame seeds in another shallow plate. Remove the pork tenderloin from the marinade and coat with the honey-brown sugar mixture. Then roll the tenderloin in the sesame seeds to coat.
Roast in a shallow pan for 20 to 30 minutes or until a meat thermometer registers 155. Remove to a serving platter and let stand so the juices will settle and the final internal temperature rises to 160.
Slice thinly to serve. |
