Here's what
you need:
1/2 pound extra lean ground beef
1 green bell pepper, chopped
4 cups hot water
24 ounces tomato juice
1 cup diced potato
1 cup shredded cabbage
1/2 tsp. Pepper
1/8 tsp. cayenne pepper
1 Tbsp. paprika
1/2 cup sour cream

1 small onion, chopped
1 large garlic clove, minced
2 beef bouillon cubes
1 small carrot, diced
1 cup diced celery
1 tsp. salt
1 bay leaf
1/4 tsp. dried basil
3/4 cup cooked pasta |
Here's how to make it:
In a large sauce pot, brown ground beef with onion and bell pepper. Add garlic and cook 2 minutes longer. Add water, tomato juice and all remaining ingredients (except pasta and sour cream) and cook until vegetables are tender, approximately 30 minutes. Add pasta during last 5 to 10 minutes.
Serve with a dollop of sour cream.
